I just wanted to say a massive and very special thank you to Pulse for making our night on Saturday at our wedding.  Everyone is still talking about how great you were and some even lost their voices from singing along.  The song choices were great and catered for all ages and I cannot thank you enough for playing Rod Stewart!  Highlight of the night for my dad and our family - always get the party started in our house!  My only regret is not getting the band started sooner because of the food being delayed, sorry about that.  I will be recommending you far and wide to everyone I know because you were all fantastic!

The band was a big hit with everyone saying how much they loved the music and the guys enthusiasm.  The selection of music was right for everyone from young to old.

Having Pulse play at our wedding totally made our night! Right from the start they had everyone up on the dance floor (young and old) - and that's where everyone stayed all night. The break in between the two sets was well needed and gave everyone a chance to refuel before all the dancing and singing begun again! We have had had so many comments about the band and how impressed everyone was. Our 9 year old nephew was stoked when they played his song, and he got to sing along with the boys - he still had a beaming grin ear to ear the next day (and no doubt everyone at school on Monday heard about it too!) We would, and already have recommend to any up coming bridal couples to to secure a booking to have Pulse play at their reception, it is well worth every cent and will not be regretted!

It was such a special day for us and you really made sure that the guests stayed on the dance floor even though their tummy’s were full and they probably wanted to sit down for a sleep. You had the grace to play songs that were special to us, and chose songs that kept everyone dancing. The incredible skill you all have as musicians made sure our guests could not help but dance and enjoy themselves. We have had many comments both during and after the evening on how fantastic the band was and where did we find you. 
I can whole heartedly say that we would recommend you for any wedding and would hire you again if we have a function in Hawkes Bay.

Rural Directions B&S Ball, Hawkes Bay Showgrounds 
When next year rolls around and Rural Directions is faced with organising a B&S style Ball for 600 people, one thing is for sure…Pulse will be there!!! 
Rural Directions, a rural recruiting and HR company took the challenge of hosting the Saturday night entertainment at the Kelt Capital Horse of the Year Show in the first two-story marquee New Zealand has seen. The entertainment began with teams of shepherds showing casing their skills in a medley of events from mounted pony games, stock whip cracking through to mechanical bull riding – you name it they did it! 
As the crowd cheered in support of their local teams while they battled it out for the title, Pulse took control of getting the party inside the marquee underway. Their ability to draw the crowd to the dance floor and keep them there was testament to the way Sean and the guys read the crowd and pitched their performance perfectly. It was great to work with a professional band who are excellent to work and communicate with and who deliver more than they promise.

We thought Pulse were a fantastic band, they absolutely got the party going!! Not only were the oldies up there shaking their stuff, but the young were right in there with them! There was almost no room left on the dance floor!! Thanks so much guys for helping to make our wedding a party to remember! What was really awesome was they learned our first dance for us, not many bands will do that and it makes a huge difference. Not only are they a great band but they are really great guys to deal with, they travelled a long way to come and play for us. We had seen the band live at several gigs before, and were always impressed at their good solid performance of well known covers. Each band member is a truly likeable character, with a great sense of humour. Pleasing a crowd of widely differing ages at a wedding is not easy, and the entire day was a fairly stressful affair as it was..... So we called in the professionals, and they delivered, rocking us through to the wee smalls, and giving my wife and I some lovely memories. Lets face it.....whether we like it or not, people will judge your wedding (or any occasion for that matter) by two things: 1 - the food, and 2 - the Entertainment. We have no hesitation in recommending Pulse to anyone who wants a polished performance. Do yourself a favour, and hire some serious musicians.

You were so prepared and helpful - you wouldn’t believe how much we appreciated it! As for Pulse, I was quite stressed up until the point when the band started, then I really felt able to relax and start enjoying myself! They were amazing – the meals and speeches etc caused a delay which the band members took in their stride, the play list was great and the quality of the band honestly was second to none. 

We are still hearing comments about how “the band really made the night”, and I’ve also received phone calls from two couples who have since become engaged and were wanting Pulse’s details! (Which of course I handed on). Thanks so much Jason – please could you pass on our appreciation to the guys in Pulse also?
